Our People

Melua Watson

Melua started Writeclick with Duncan in 2005. Before this little beauty of a career she worked in public sector communications and wrote feature articles for magazines.

Amazingly, for one so nice and genuine, she was once loved by cabinet ministers and mayors for her speech writing prowess.

Melua has a political science degree and diplomas in journalism and public relations.

She’s a dedicated plain English advocate and recently helped judge the web content categories of the 2009 WriteMark Plain English Awards.

Melua loves running – preferably on a leafy trail rather than after her two little girls. She can also recite the strengths and weaknesses of every decent vintage clothes shop in the North Island.

Duncan Munro

Yup, Duncan started Writeclick too. His background is in journalism and corporate communications.

In his more than 10 years of web content management he worked for some annoyingly large organisations and a couple of arty farty ones like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Duncan has an English literature degree and diplomas in journalism and public relations.

He’s our resident SEO expert and reckons there are few things quite as satisfying as  getting a client a top Google spot.

Duncan plays guitar in the extremely underground Butterfly P!G and surfs so much it’s buggered his ears.  Maybe there’s a link there.
